On March 12, 2015, the head of Talizi training programs, Salome Vadachkoria, was invited by the head of a hair transplant clinic, Darius Alamut, to Düsseldorf, Germany, for the carrying out of training for the personnel of the clinic.
Darius Alamut's clinic has received a great deal of attention as the first German clinic to purchase a robot for hair transplant. By means of this robot, the first hair transplantation surgeries in Alamut's clinic were performed. Representatives of Talizi, with great pleasure, cooperated with the German team to carry out the training course, and the surgeries passed with huge success.
Due to great interest from mass media, doctor Alamut held a press conference, in which journalists had a chance to attend a real surgery and, with their own eyes, see and report how the hair transplant by use of the robot was performed. Such method of hair transplant understandably garnered the interest and recognition of experts.
At annual conferences of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, experts from Talizi repeatedly attended presentations of Artas, the company that pioneered the use of a robot in hair transplant surgeries, but supervision of the robot directly in the course of hair transplantation exceeded all expectations.
The use of the robot during the process of follicular extraction aids in decreasing fatigue experienced by the doctor, helps to calculate the direction of hair growth perfectly, and ensures optimal use of the donor area. Moreover, the use of tiny tools removes the risk for development of post-surgical hems.
We are glad to report that Talizi Hair Transplant Center plans to purchase such a robot in the near future, and we will be able to offer this service to our patients, as well.
